About Us

We're a couple who fell in love with each other and with the joy of teaching at the same time.We are full-time Spanish facilitators and online educators. We believe that teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin. The more we teach, the more we learn. And the best part of our job is teaching Spanish, a language that is both fun and challenging, exciting and exhausting, amusing and confusing.Learning a second language is not the same as learning your native language. Children learn languages differently than adults. Adults have to use their existing language skills to compare, memorize, and articulate new information. It takes time and effort to reach the point where you can think in a new language. But it is an incredibly rewarding experience.We are passionate about helping people learn Spanish. We created My Lengua to provide a fun and engaging way to learn this beautiful language. Our resources are designed to help you reach your language learning goals, whatever they may be.Join us on our journey to learn Spanish!We've been learning and teaching Spanish for over 10 years, and we've learned a lot about how people learn new languages.While making this system, we binge watched, binge listened, and even binge read everything that polyglots said, the researchers said, my students said.In simple terms, what is the best way to learn a language is what I was looking for? Do we learn languages, being an adult, just like a child? Does the brain perceives a 2nd language different from native language? Is the conventional way of teaching in school/institutes are boring and have limitations?Lots of information and lots of confusion.But, one thing was repetitive, Dr Steven Krashen’s 40 years of research on Language Acquisition. Many of the points, based on his 5 hypothesis, made sense to me.
